Carol Van Biezen - Program Director & Owner 

Carol has a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, and has been coaching gymnastics for 20 years. She has coached all levels from tots through level 9, and has helped guide many compulsory gymnasts to District, North State and State titles. 


Carol is also an accomplished gymnast herself. Some of her achievements include:

  ▪  5th place finish at the World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in New
     Zealand in 1992
  ▪ 
3rd place finish at the World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Germany in 1990
 
▪  3rd place finish at the Canadian National Power Tumbling Championships in 1992
  ▪ 
Multiple podium finishes in Canadian National and Alberta Provincial Championships.

Carol's gymnastics instruction certifications include:

  ▪  USA Gymnastics Safety Certification
  ▪  National Coaching Certification Program of Canada (NCCP), Level 3 Theory, 1993.
  ▪  NCCP Gymnastics: Theory, Technical and Practical hours Certified for Level 1 in
     1990 and Level 2 in 1993.
  ▪  NCCP Trampoline: Theory, Technical and Practical hours fully completed for Level 1
     in 1992 and Level 2 in 1993.
  ▪  Level 1 Athletic First Aid Certification as well as advanced Athletic Therapy
     courses at the University of Calgary, included injury prevention/care, taping and
     physical therapy techniques.
  ▪  CPR Certified.
  ▪  Kinder Accreditation for Teachers Certified (KAT)
  ▪  Movement Education and Lesson Plan Development Certification (MELPD).

Ginger Fox - Program Director & Owner

Ginger has a diploma in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal College in Calgary, and has been coaching gymnastics for 22 years. Ginger has coached all levels of gymnasts as well, leading many of her competitive students to District, North State, and State titles.


Ginger has also had a successful career as a competitive gymnast. Her achievements include:

  ▪   7th place finish at the World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in New Zealand in 1992
  ▪   1st place finish at the Canadian National Power Tumbling Championships in 1992
  ▪   1st place finish at the Alberta Provincial Power Tumbling Championships in 1991
  ▪   Multiple podium finishes in Canadian National, and British Columbia Provincial Championships.
